With 3 children and all the bags, sweaters, hats, and coats that along with them, I was looking for something that they could reach and that had lots of room. This is the perfect coat rack for a family with children. There is plently of hooks and it is very sturdy. We have coats, bags, and hats on it. I love it!!

You will need to put this together, but it is solid wood, heavy and will not tip over readily. Our 4 yr old loves the lower racks for her coats, etc.and allows her to be independent. Nice looking, doesn't look "cheap".

I wanted something that could be used in a entryway to hang my everyday coat without hanging them on the back of the dining room chairs (where the cats would try to lay on them and get them fur-covered)and they could be handier than in the hall closet. This product works perfectly for me. It was very easy to put together and is very stable. I am already thinking I might give this product as a gift to a friend who also has cats that try to lay on her coats.
